Boulder’s unique training environment—steep elevation changes, long trail mileage, Flatirons climbing, high-volume cycling, and elite-level strength training—creates exceptional stress on joints, tendons, and cartilage. These repetitive loads accelerate inflammation, tendon micro-tearing, and early degenerative changes that do not respond to rest alone.
Dynamic Athlete Sports Medicine & Regenerative Orthopaedics delivers the most advanced platelet-rich plasma therapy in Colorado. Every PRP treatment is physician-performed, ultrasound-guided, shockwave-primed, and biologically matched to the specific tissue being treated.
Dynamic Athlete is the destination clinic for those seeking optimal outcomes through unmatched precision, clinical expertise, and evidence-based regenerative medicine.
PRP delivers concentrated growth factors and healing signals that support tendon repair, reduce inflammation, and improve joint function. Dynamic Athlete enhances this biologic effect using a performance-driven, protocolized approach.
Our systems generate elevated platelet concentrations designed for superior biologic impact.
LP PRP: ideal for cartilage and inflammatory joint conditions
LR PRP: ideal for tendon overload and high-load athletes
FRP: ideal for early arthritis or degenerative presentations needing scaffolding
The target region is activated before injection to improve circulation, cellular responsiveness, and overall biologic readiness.
Every PRP injection is performed with real-time imaging for accurate placement.
This system outperforms standard single-spin PRP or non–ultrasound-guided injections.
Rotator cuff, patellar tendon, Achilles tendon, quadriceps tendon, elbow tendinopathy.
Early arthritis in the knee, shoulder, or hip; cartilage irritation.
Running-related knee irritation, climbing shoulder strain, cycling overuse patterns, IT band inflammation.
Recurring swelling or discomfort after activity.
Training at altitude with frequent steep climbs, descents, and high weekly volume contributes to:
These patterns often progress despite standard rehab or temporary symptom management.
PRP helps repair tissue at the biologic level, not just relieve symptoms.
Ultrasound is used when appropriate to evaluate tendon integrity, cartilage quality, inflammation, and mechanical contributors to pain.
LP, LR, or FRP is selected based on the structure involved and your athletic or lifestyle goals.
The treatment area is activated using ESWT, RPW, and EMTT to enhance the biologic response.
Performed exclusively by Dr. Garg for accuracy and safety.
Your plan includes guidance on running progression, lifting volume, climbing modifications, cycling tolerance, and long-term joint preservation.
Dynamic Athlete provides a level of regenerative care not found in traditional orthopedic or PRP clinics.

His work with USA Hockey and US Soccer provides elite-level insight into injury patterns, performance demands, and non-surgical recovery strategies.
Dynamic Athlete is the only clinic in Boulder offering ESWT, RPW, and EMTT as an integrated biologic-priming system.
LP, LR, and FRP are chosen intentionally based on tissue type, inflammation, structural integrity, and performance requirements.
Protocols support climbers, trail runners, cyclists, gravel racers, strength athletes, CrossFit athletes, and active-aging adults who want to stay active without surgery.
Aneesh Garg, DO, CAQ is a nationally recognized sports and regenerative medicine physician known for precision ultrasound, advanced biologics, and full-stack shockwave protocols. PRP uses a concentrated platelet solution from your own blood to stimulate healing, improve cellular signaling, and support tendon, ligament, and joint recovery.
Dynamic Athlete provides multi-spin PRP, ultrasound-guided injections, and full shockwave stack integration performed exclusively by Dr. Aneesh Garg. Boulder athletes trust the precision and outcomes.
Most active adults resume light activity within one to two weeks and transition back into running or climbing between four and eight weeks depending on tissue behavior.
Yes. PRP is derived from your own blood and administered under sterile technique with ultrasound guidance.

Rachel graduated high school this year and will be attending the University of Wyoming in the fall to pursue a pre-medical track. She hopes to go on to medical school afterwards to specialize in orthopedics and sports medicine.
Rachel found her passion for this field through many sports injuries growing up, and hopes to help other athletes overcome the challenges she has faced. In her free time (when she’s not injured), Rachel enjoys running, lifting weights and spending time with her family.
