EMSELLA therapy at Dynamic Athlete is a physician-directed, non-invasive neuromuscular activation service designed to improve pelvic floor function, core stability, and neuromuscular control in adults experiencing weakness, dysfunction, or loss of control.
Many people seeking EMSELLA are otherwise healthy, active, and high-functioning. What they notice is subtle but disruptive: reduced bladder control, diminished core stability, difficulty generating strength, or a loss of confidence during movement, training, or daily activity.
EMSELLA addresses this gap by activating deep pelvic and core musculature through focused electromagnetic stimulation. Treatments are delivered without medication, needles, or downtime and are structured as a medical service, not a wellness or aesthetic offering.
Dynamic Athlete is the destination clinic for those seeking optimal outcomes through unmatched precision, clinical expertise, and evidence-based regenerative medicine.

Pelvic floor physical therapy and exercise programs rely on voluntary muscle contraction and patient consistency. While effective for some, others struggle to generate sufficient intensity, coordination, or repetition to retrain deep neuromuscular pathways.
EMSELLA works differently by inducing powerful, involuntary contractions that directly activate pelvic floor and core muscles. This allows consistent neuromuscular recruitment that is not dependent on technique, endurance, or conscious control. For patients who have tried exercises or physical therapy without adequate improvement, EMSELLA may provide a different path forward.
This pathway supports individuals experiencing urinary leakage with activity, coughing, or exertion; post-pregnancy pelvic floor weakness; age-related changes in muscle strength; or loss of confidence related to bladder control.
No. Men benefit equally from core reactivation and improved pelvic-lumbar control.
That’s exactly why we combine them. Most single-modality treatments don’t engage the full neuromuscular system. This protocol addresses both components.
No. It’s well-tolerated, non-invasive, and delivered at intensities customized to your comfort level.
Most patients report improvements within a few sessions, with subtle changes in engagement or control starting even sooner.
While we value pelvic PT, our technology-based approach delivers faster activation, deeper engagement, and greater adherence for many patients.
Yes. This protocol improves pelvic floor responsiveness and neuromuscular control, helping reduce leakage, urgency, and frequency in both men and women.
Emsella feels like a series of deep, involuntary pelvic floor contractions = 11,000 kegel contractions. Focused shockwave feels like a gentle pulse or tapping in the lower abdominals. Both are non-invasive and well tolerated.
We support patients with:
No. You can return to work, training, parenting, or daily activity immediately. These therapies are non-surgical and require no recovery time.
Yes. A stable core and strong pelvic floor are critical to movement, balance, endurance, and injury prevention. Many active individuals and athletes use this protocol proactively.

Rachel graduated high school this year and will be attending the University of Wyoming in the fall to pursue a pre-medical track. She hopes to go on to medical school afterwards to specialize in orthopedics and sports medicine.
Rachel found her passion for this field through many sports injuries growing up, and hopes to help other athletes overcome the challenges she has faced. In her free time (when she’s not injured), Rachel enjoys running, lifting weights and spending time with her family.
